Andy from Toy Story

Yesterday I got fed by the voice over actor John Morris and his sister Melissa. John did the voice for Andy in Toy Story. To be honest I didn’t know who Andy was, I’ve since been told that it was quite a major role. Anyways the food was amazing, pumpkin pie, frittata, quinoa, root beer. A fantastic Punic at the Astoria Column

Liking the feel of Astoria. It burnt down twice, the last time was in 1922. So when the town rebuilt it built brick buildings that were all Art Deco, so it looks really very pretty.

To get to Astoria I had to cross the Astoria-Megler Bridge:

It’s 4 miles long and single carriage way with very little shoulder for bicyclist to ride in. It goes up hill and there are some strong side winds. I’m soooooo glad that I caught the bus and didn’t ride that day 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I had to get my bike to the bike shop in Astoria, so couldn’t ride.

I do really like this town. It’s on the Colombian river.

I’m staying in a super cool hostel. Which has vinyl records on the wall that you can request them to play.

They even had Englebert, but I didn’t put in a special request.

Tomorrow I’m catching a bus to Portland 😁😁. I’ve pushed my bike a lot over the past few days 😊.
