For the past two and a bit weeks I've sort of been living off the grid, cycling down the Icefield Parkway. It's the road through the Rockies, and we're doing it in 28days, a lot of people do it in a week. Unfortunately there are no supermarkets along the way, so we're carrying our own…… Continue reading Off the Grid

Happy Birthday Canada

So Jasper had a party which included a pancake breakfast for everyone, a flag raising ceremony with Birthday cake, entertainment in the park and a firework display to end the night. I did find it funny to find out that Canada is only 150 years old, I’m sure that…… Continue reading Happy Birthday Canada
Alfresco Tuna Sandwiches

Day was also spent planning the next 6…… Continue reading Brown Bear and Cubs
Training Day
Second day on train. Started at 9.30am and we go into Jasper at 8pm local time. So a 10.5 hour journey I was so glad to ride my bike down the road. Looking forward to being out and about over the next week whilst in Jasper.
Prince George
A very very very scenic train journey to Prince George. Journey was a long one. We started at 8.30am and got in at 10.30pm.
Sunshine ☀️ Yay!!
After quite a few rainy days the sun has finally made an appearance. Today is my last day in Prince Rupert before catching a train for two days to get to Jasper. Going to miss my bike 🚴 😞.
