I’m now in LA. A great ride through the country past some of the houses of the rich and the famous. Sad to think that they were abandoned. My host fosters cats.

I decided to cycle inland and have a look around, so headed to Newbury Park. There were some interesting road signs along the way. Quite a few with holes in them. The scenery changed. I actually cycled. An amazing route, which was mainly cycle paths and quiet roads. Cycle path right next to the highway with barriers separating the cycles from the cars.

Caught a bus from Salinas to Santa Barbara to catch up with Traile who I met a good 8 weeks ago in Canada. Traile actually thought that I’d passed by without contacting her because I’d taken so long.
