They Let Me In!! 😁

An amazing ferry ride from Sidney, Canada to Anacortes, USA. Best passport control experience ever, I even got asked for the link to my blog.

My first night was spent with the Apples in Anacortes.

I’m currently cycling the west coast of Washington from Anacortes to the border.

Along the way part of the way I’ve bumped into Bob and Paul from Mill Valley, California. Most of the time they’ve been overtaking me.

I’ve also been staying with Warmshowers hosts, including Lou who has a super fast recumbent bike. The local knowledge from all of the hosts has been invaluable and the evening chats with all have been fun.

I’m still chucking stuff out, my panniers are the lightest that they’ve ever been. I just can’t find a lightweight option for my bike locks.

I’m getting compliments on my noodle.

Unfortunately it’s smokey here too due to the forest fires in the region.
